Description:
Artist Statement: "Whether I am in my favorite seat on the sand gazing out at the ocean of blue or sailing on top of its gentle, glistening waves, I am content. The sea muffles the voices of many and sings lullabies until I close my eyes. The sun warms my body like no blanket could ever do. The salty mist hits my face, and my eyes open to witness the brilliant white sheets wrapping up the winds. I am happiest when I am with the blue."
Quilting Method: Movable Machine
Techniques: Appliqué (Raw Edge); Mosaic; Quilting (Free-Motion); Digital Fabric Cutting; Fused Appliqué; Machine Quilted; Original Technique - From a photograph, a hand-drawn mosaic design is created, which is then manually traced to create a digital pattern.
