"More to Life Than Books" by Susanne Woods and Jessica Kwan was part of the Susanne Woods exhibit at Quiltcon 2022.

What was the Susanne Woods Exhibit at Quiltcon 2022: "Susanne Woods was an early advocate for and leader of the MQG. Serving on the board of directors for six years, in addition to her full-time publishing career, Susanne's guidance was invaluable. Like so many quilters, Susanne's passing in 2020 left stacks of projects unfinished. This exhibit features many of those quilts, which were lovingly finished by members of the local guild started by Susanne. Discover this sliver of Susanne's legacy, and the stories of finishing the quilts from members of her guild."

Artist Statement: "This was one of the first finished quilts I saw of Susanne's. She had a love books that was unparalleled. She told our guild about how she had improv-pieced the letters using the "Stitch Your Story" book she made with Sarah Fielke. We knew she was a Booklegger, and we knew how perfect this quote was for her.

I pieced the backing using this fantastic library card catalogue stamp fabric and a pieced strip of some extra fabrics from the quilt top. I quilted a simple heart design to emphasize her love for books."
