Description:
Brandy considers Glorious & Free to be one of the most honorable quilts she has ever made. Originally, Brandy issued a challenge to her podcast listeners to create a quilt. When a friend of hers called and asked what quilt she would be making for the challenge, Brandy realized that she should probably make a quilt as well. That quilt became Glorious & Free, which depict the shadow of a soldier in the background, the brown fabric, with a maple leaf overlaid on the top in red. Glorious & Free is meant to honor the Canadian Armed Forces, with the title being a quote from the Canadian national anthem, and has hung all across Canada in their support centers for PTSD and for soldiers.
