Description:
Enough Is Enough! was started by Catherine in the early 2000s. At the time, she had just moved to the US and did not have a work permit, being here as an accompanying spouse, so she had plenty of time to take as many quilt classes as she wanted. She took a two-day class with Jan Krentz, who was very kind and helpful to her, and whenever Jan needed to show the class something Catherine had Jan show on her quilt, this particular quilt actually, which allowed her to get the whole of the star done. She then took the quilt home and continued practicing her machine quilting, but then put it away for a bit. When an event for her guild arose which was only taking a certain number of quilts, she decided to bring it back out and elevate the quilt so that hers would be accepted. So, Catherine sat for two weeks and added the beads to the quilt, which includes a beaded archway all around the edge, and the quilt was accepted.
