Description:
Dancing With The Chinook features two ravens flying amongst the Chinook Winds, which are huge and heavy warm winds that come in during the winter time. Living in Alaska for several years Linda noticed that there were a lot of ravens up there in the winter, and noted how fun they were to watch due to their playful nature and intelligence. The ravens would go up into the winds and play, do acrobatics, and chase each other, which then became the inspiration for Linda's quilt.
Artist Statement: "While living in Alaska, I became fascinated with ravens. Watching them dance and play in the wind currents was like watching an intricate ballet."
Materials: Cotton Fabrics and Batting, Cotton and Synthetic Threads.
