Artist Statement: "An original design, this quilt was inspired by the Michael Miller pink daisy border fabric that was designed by Patty Young. I chose a traditional medallion quilt setting with overlapping sections for interest and depth and added modern embellishments, which included stamping and hand-painted dots and flowers, to create a more modern perspective."
