Cross Cut by Jeans Wells 2010
I purchased a postcard in the UK where I was teaching that was an old cross cut of a tree. I was fascinated with the patterning I saw and decided to make this quilt. It was a huge project to figure it out and make it. Fifteen years ago when we built our new home we had Chester Armstrong carve this image on wood for our front door.
