Description:
Creamsicles And Chocolate was created using a very flimsy orange peel top from the 1870s that Mary dissected. The outer borders are from the 1870s blocks and the dresden plates in the middle are made from fabric around the 20th century between the 1920s and 1930s. Alison Wilbur did the quilting on the quilt and chose to add the buttons to the centers of the dresden plates. She also added some hand quilting to the piece in addition to machine quilting, which is a change of pace for Mary's work which mostly features machine quilting.
