Description:
Artist Statement: “This design grew out of a failure to work on something small. Most of my quilts are large bed quilts, so I opened my digital sketchbook to explore ideas for art pieces. None of the compositions were inspiring until I repeated and rearranged the shapes into this wall of columns and vines. This design captures my three main design passions: curved piecing, repetition of shapes, and a sense of order in composition and color.”
