Marilyn Badger talks about her quilt, "Cleopatra's Treasure", which won 1st Place in the Wall Quilts: Movable Machine Quilted Category at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2023. This quilt is the second in a series. The doilies are hand dyed by Wendy Richardson. Appliqué and beading were also used in the quilt. This category was sponsored by Juki America.

Description:
Artist Statement: "Second in a series of doily quilts featuring hand dyed vintage doily by Wendy Richardson and fabrics by Paula Nadelstern. They seem to compliment each other so well. Lots of beading on this one, along with hand embroidery and painting to accent the quilting designs."
