Description:
"Cityscape" is composed with deconstructed improv piecing and creates a late summer's eve cityscape including raw edge appliqued' bright lights, dark sky, and modern tower blocks. This quilt is filled in a modern way with free motion straight line and circular ruler work overlay quilted plus signs and boxes, grid work and walking foot matchstick quilting. The dark backdrop of negative space affords room to highlight the quilting motifs.
