Artist Statement: "I took on this quilt as a New Year's resolution. I wanted to challenge myself to improve my machine embroidery skills. In order for this quilt to work on my home machine, I had to reduce the pattern size and learn a completely new and innovative way to assemble blocks. With over 250 hours of stitching time to complete this small version, I improvised many techniques to adapt this pattern to a home machine, and gained confidence in my skill."
Techniques: Machine Quilting - Stationary, Commercial Digitized Quilting and Embroidery
