Description:
Information on the Quilt from the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles: "This quilt contains 12 large rose and vine stem appliques in fabrics of bright red and green, with a touch of chrome orange, (also nicknamed, "Cheddar"). The block design is an off-center asymmetrical design with one large rose, three buds and leaves on a curving stem. The border with pots of flowers and leaves completes the design. The appliques are done with a fine blanket stitch."
