Description:
Artist Statment: "After seeing many temperature quilts during 2019, I was motivated to plan my own version of 2020. One aspect that was very important to me was to reflect both high and low daily temperatures in order to add more color. My block uses a rectangle to represent the daily high temperature and a triangle for the daily low. I switched up block orientations across the rows and from one row to the next to get the triangles to come together as diamonds. This quilt wound up being a fun project and distraction during the pandemic and an interesting memory from a very strange year."
Techniques: Machine Pieced, Machine Quilted on a frame (longarm)
