Introduction to Gina Perkes' Ruler Mastery Series

Featuring: Gina Perkes

Posts On: July 1, 2017

Gina introduces her Ruler Mastery Series, a 10-month program in which you will be creating a whole-cloth quilt sampler using a different ruler each month. You will develop ruler skills and learn new designs to add to your quilting arsenal. With Gina’s program you can use your longarm machine or your domestic sewing machine and master your ruler skills.

Rulers are available for purchase in The Quilt Show store. Click here.

Classes will be held the first Wednesday of every month beginning July 5, 2017. All classes are free. They can be watched at any time once they have been introduced.

woohoo! Although little late to the starting gate, I got my sandwich foundation marked and sandwiched. I'm being brave and making it in black. Yesterday I got two more rulers I did not have (ordering them a little at a time, because I already had some of them). I got Grace and Bette. I also have Shirley, a few more of Gina's and a rather large and growing set of other rulers, mostly from Lisa Calle and Gadget Girl. So I THINK I can do the whole class now with what I have. We'll see. I keep thinking I have bought enough rulers for my use. LOL :D

Are you going to be at the 2017 Fall Paducah show so I can look at your rulers?

Is there any way we can download the videos so we'll have them for future reference: ie, after the classes are all completed? I know that other classes which were offered for free were later not available for viewing.

I just got "Shirley" :D I am going to try to do this class with my already extensive selection of rulers, some are Gina's but I have others too. I am going to order just a few more of hers and hope she will make the additional stencils in the kit available independently from the others, since I'm not buying the kit and already own several of her grid stencils. I'm going to be using my sit down Bernina Q20, which I adore, for this project. Looking forward to starting. :D

Are these classes free to anyone or just TQSStar members?

I just realized that the first of the videos should have been posted but I can't find where those are. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I just ordered my ruler set so I will have to patiently wait for those to arrive. I am looking forward to this class.
