Alex took a machine quilting class from Jenny K. Lyon at Craft Napa. Jenny brought a wonderful quilt, Morning Breeze, demonstrating all kinds of quilting designs. It had everything from feathers to flowers and presented as a beautiful whole cloth quilt. This one will get you motivated to find those quilt sandwiches and start practicing.

Look below the photos to see what Alex had to say about the class.

Here's what Alex had to say about the class:

Imagine spending the whole day sitting in front of a BERNINA special edition 765 Rose Gold machine stitching away to your hearts content. Jenny had a plethora of tricks up her sleeves to help students grow their confidence at free motion quilting. I learned I LOVE bubble quilting and how easy it is to try different motifs with just a little practice. Practice, Practice, Practice! That is the name of the game.

P.S. - Alex bought the 765 Rose Gold and took it home with her...

Very elegant design and stitching. I can see where Alex loved the class. Great going Jenny Lyon on your designs.

Yes it does. There is a foot with BSR that you attach and plug into your machine so you have the free motion quilting.

Beautiful quilting, but I do not do whole cloth quilts and wish I could see practice done on pieced examples

Jenny Lyon you must have over a million hours as your quilt is beyond believable. I will need to live to be 113 in order to catch up to you. Alex you must have had a wonderful time in class.

Does the 765 Rose Gold have a stitch regulator for free motion quilting?
