Artist Statement: "This quilt is a part of the series that includes Sango, God of Thunder and Osun Goddess. Strength of a Woman represents the wife of Sango. She is more powerful and is the only one who can appease her husband when he is upset. From the image here, you can observe that she is bringing water to her husband, while he is spitting fire."
