Description:
I promised a retirement quilt to a co-worker who planned on sailing a lot (he lived on his boat). It started with a Mariner's Compass I made in a Judi Mathieson class, and then grew, designed in Electric Quilt using nautical themed blocks. I added the lighthouses and arranged them as they would appear around the United States, West Coast, Great Lakes, Northern East Coast and Southern East Coast. Quilting includes images of the four winds blowing.
