More From Quilts, Inc.:

“We are excited to be back again in Long Beach, where we know there is an active and creative arts community,” says Karey Bresenhan, President/CEO of Festival producer Quilts, Inc.

“And even if you’re not a quilter yourself, there is a considerable amount of incredible art on display in our museum-like galleries.”

Among the themed exhibits making their debut in Long Beach are “Antique Floral Quilts from the International Quilt Festival Collection,” “Best of the West,” the Judged Show “A Celebration of Color,” “The Changing Climate,” “Honey, I Shrunk the Quilts!” “Lost Star,” “One Song, Three Verses,” “SAQA: Fur, Fangs, Feathers, & Fins,” “The Sporting Life,” “A Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II,” and “Yellowstone: A Western Lifestyle.” Other popular exhibits were featured at the 2022 Houston Festival.

The show floor will also feature the Open Studios™ circular structure area where attendees can sit and watch four artist-teachers creating work and discussing their craft simultaneously. Teachers and topics change every two hours.

Vendors from across the country will be offering finished quilts as well as fabrics, books, patterns, sewing machines, tools, crafts, computer software, and anything the beginner or expert quilter or sewist needs to jumpstart (or continue) their artistry and creativity. Many of their shops and stores are located in California or the West Coast.

Finally, classes are offered in a number of topics. Whether your preference is professional development, “back by popular demand” classes, or fully-kitted classes, Festival has something for everyone!

Hours are 10 am-5 pm each day. Daily tickets are $15 adults/$12 seniors-students-military; children 10 and under free. Full show passes are $35.

Advance online tickets and up-to-the-minute show information is available at Quilts.com > Long Beach Festival. Class enrollees do not need to purchase daily tickets as admission is included with registration."
