The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Tree Landscape Architecture Silkscreen" by Lauren Vlcek

Do a puzzle of Lauren Vlcek's Tree Landscape Architecture Silkscreen.

At a time when she was in a creative drought, and needing to meet a deadline, Lauren decided to revisit old artwork she had done for inspiration. Majoring in landscape architecture, she came across her college portfolio filled with architectural designs. Inspired by the tree planting construction drawings in the portfolio, Lauren decided to recreate the drawings using silkscreening. This one, of one of the trees, was made by enlarging the image, recreating her original design using a digital cutting machine, and then silkscreening that design onto a small art quilt that she made.
