Textile Talks: Full Circle - A Conversation with Artist and Olympian Grace Latz, presented by International Quilt Museum
Presented by the International Quilt Museum: "In the spirit of the Paris Olympics, join the International Quilt Museum for an extraordinary episode of Textile Talks with artist and Olympian Grace Latz. As part of the Olympian Artist program, Latz traveled to Paris in 2023 to create a one-of-a-kind contemporary quilt with local senior citizens. Titled “Full Circle,” the quilt is informed by t-shirt quilts often used to commemorate achievement in sport. It features upcycled sports fabrics sourced from a French recycling center in addition to personal textiles from Latz’ Olympic experience." Register today and watch when this episode airs this Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 2 PM EDT.
