The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Windows" by Amanda Murphy
Do a puzzle of Amanda Murphy's quilt, Windows.
Windows uses the same Frolic fabric line of Amanda's that she used in her Garden Party quilt. The quilt features echoed straight line quilting in the squares, and feathers in the large flower prints. The flower prints themselves are wide back prints originally developed for quilt backings, but here are utilized as a fun way to practice your quilting skills (which you could still do if it were a backing). By using these large prints and a larger scale in general, Amanda says Windows gives off a more Modern vibe.
