The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Twinkling Stars" by Lynn Carson Harris
Do a puzzle of Lynn Carson Harris' quilt, Twinkling Stars.
The stars in Lynn's Twinkling Stars quilt are three inches finished and were created using Gwen Marston's liberated piecing technique. The centers of each star are print scraps, while the points are free pieced using solid fabrics. It took Lynn over a year to make the quilt and came out to be a whopping 67" by 73" when all was said and done. That's a big quilt for all those tiny stars.
