Do a puzzle of Kim Eichler-Messmer's quilt, Total Eclipse of the Pivot.
Total Eclipse of the Pivot was created with hand dyed fabrics using marigold, weld, and walnut, along with striped fabric from Kim's "imbue" line of modern batiks. It is made from three layers of cloth, stitched together, and then cut to reveal layers of color and texture below.
