The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Sunflowers" by Heidi Kaisand
Do a puzzle of Heidi Kaisand's quilt, Sunflowers.
Sunflowers is Heidi's own design, a variation on a block that she found one time that she liked, that really plays with a diagonal grid. It was made using all batiks, featuring a variety of standout colors. The wool appliqué sunflowers that adorn the quilt were needle-felted on Heidi's machine and then hand stitched onto the quilt.
