The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Sugar and Spice" by Renae Haddadin
Do a puzzle of Renae Haddadin's quilt, Sugar and Spice.
Sugar and Spice consists of two whole cloth pieces of fabric. The front-side is a black piece of fabric and the back is a white piece of fabric. Renae put embroidery on both sides and then matched the two sides together, which she says is very tricky on a longarm. The white side features a hexagon design with a six petaled flower in it that is embroidered, while the black side features embroidery done in a string of petaled flowers inside circles.
