The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Rustic Wedding" by Missie Carpenter
Do a puzzle of Missie Carpenter's quilt, Rustic Wedding.
Missie used a layering technique of wool and cotton in her beautiful Rustic Wedding quilt. The wool appliqué is raw-edge while the cotton appliqué has a finished edge. Its title is derived from its use of the wedding ring shape in the center, along with its rustic nature pulled from the use of wools, cottons, and its coloring. Ricky loved the visual impact that the quilt gave off because of Missie's use of color.
