Do a puzzle of Kumiko Frydl's quilt, Peony Mandala.
Peony Mandala is made using one of Kumiko's standout techniques, shadow trapunto. After making quilts using foundation paper piecing, she wanted to switch to quilts that showed off the quilting more, and thus her beautiful shadow trapunto styled quilts came into the picture.
