The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Mission: Impeccable" by Kumiko Frydl
Do a puzzle of Kumiko Frydl's quilt, Mission: Impeccable.
Mission: Impeccable is part of Kumiko's Mission series of quilts. Mission, as in, the mission is whether or not she would be able to finish the quilt or even make it, à la Mission: Impossible. For this quilt, the goal was to make a very small compass. Initially the compass was to have 64 points, which Kumiko said wasn't much of challenge. So she upgraded to 128 points, which she said was much more difficult and required her to change her pattern three different times.
