The Quilt Show Puzzle: "From Sea to Sky and Back Again" by Lisa Thorpe
Do a puzzle of Lisa Thorpe's quilt, From Sea to Sky and Back Again.
From Sea to Sky and Back Again is a story quilt inspired by a hike that Lisa took with her husband along the Sonoma Coast from sea to sky. It was an incredibly challenging hike for the two, barely making it up and back down again, but they accomplished it. With a red stitched line signifying the path they took, and stitched birds to represent the ravens and seagulls they saw along the way, this simply journey created a memorable quilt.
