The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Pacific Coral Reef" by Jane Haworth
Do a puzzle of Jane Haworth's quilt, Pacific Coral Reef.
Jane was new to quilting when she moved to the United States, and one of the things she would do when she first got here was record Simply Quilts, hosted by our very own Alex Anderson. One of the episodes featured Susan Carlson, who was making a fish quilt. This opened Jane's eyes to the possibilities of using raw edge work in her quilt. As a result, Jane started to make fish quilts, which included her Pacific Coral Reef quilt from 2004, that was made with collage appliqué and machine quilting.
