Do a puzzle of A Happy New Year, "Kado-Matu" in the Rising Sun by Mihoko Tanaka.

At Houston 2016 there was a wonderful Japanese Exhibit organized by the Japan Handicrafts Instructors' Association. A Happy New Year, "Kado-Matu" in the Rising Sun by Mihoko Tanaka was part of the exhibit and is a wonderful celebration of the New Year to come. Mihoko says, "Kado-Matu or "Gate-Pine" is a flower arrangement wishing happiness and blessing for the coming New Year. It can be 1 to 10 feet high and is placed at the gate of homes in Japan for the New Year holidays. It can be compared to Christmas trees in the Christian world."
