We are taping new shows in Colorado. Here's what's happening on Day 3 and 4.
We are in Denver taping new shows for our Fall lineup! While we are here we will be taping two future shows per day, each with its own "Guest Star" who shares their quilting story and teaches us one or two of their techniques.
Read below to see who yesterday's "Guest Stars" were and what they shared, and learn who will be joining us today.
Look for these Shows starting in October.
Who Were Our Guests At Tuesday Taping?
BETTY FORD-SMITH showed how she makes beautiful, textural Pinecone Quilts using a traditional quilting technique she learned from 92 year old "Miss Sue." Pinecone Quilts can be quite heavy - one of
Betty's weighed 28 lbs!
SUSAN DILLON
showed how she creates the look of lichen and moss through embroidery, and how to achieve different effects by making minor changes to the stitch used or the material used for stitching. Finally, she shared some of her magical small works with us.
DIANA S. FOX
showed how to make a very versatile block shape - round! She demonstrated how she makes her tree ring blocks, and discussed ways to use them. Then she shared her favorite shaping tool, Heat Activated Interfacing.
Alex Anderson
showed how to make Sue Spargo's sweet Kurumi Buttons - these are perfect for embellishing quilts or other projects. Some of the buttons you will see in this segment were actually borrowed from Sue Spargo!

Having trouble clicking on new shows and a different view pops up. It is unclickable - can't go any further - looks like a 9x11 sheet of paper. I'm missing regular show news. What to do?
