Featured Quilt - Third Place Novice Quilts at the 2023 Festival of Quilts
No, you have not jumped to another universe, that's just the name of the next award-winning quilt from the 2023 Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England. Victoria Miller's quilt, Parallel Universes, took home Third Place in the Novice Quilts category at the show for her stunning Bargello quilt.
About the quilt, Victoria says, "Being a novice, I keep looking for new interesting patterns. I always liked bargello patterns. Argyle quilt by Eileen Wright was my inspiration. Moda basic grey jelly rolls were ideal for this pattern and once the top was done I realized it looks like a galaxy or a universe, hence the name."
