Featured Quilt - "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"
In honor of the MLB playoffs we present Baseball: As American as Apple Pie and Quilts, a quilt by Holley Junker, and a machine quilted gift of Yvonne Porcella (Show 713) to the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles. This quilt was shown as part of a groundbreaking exhibit at the Museum in 2017. It was a groundbreaking exhibition because it looked at the emergence of the Studio Art Quilt Movement in the 1960s and 1970s and the significant role California played in the creation of this new art form.

A Tricky, Pointy, But Reasonable Block To Make

Alex will be LIVE TODAY, October 11, 2021 @ 10am PST, 1pm EST, and 6pm London time. All classes are recorded so they can be viewed later.

The Quilt Show Puzzle: Radiating Circles From Space
"Space Age" by Cathy Franks
All the coloring on Cathy's quilt, Space Age, was done with colored pencils. There is no piecing on this quilt. She also took up the challenge to use rulers when doing her quilting. Those are all radiating 4" circles.
See more of Cathy's quilts in How to Embellish on a Longarm Quilt with Cathy Franks.
