Featured Quilt - Best Use of Color Traditional at PIQF 2021

The line between what is a traditional quilt, a modern quilt, and so on is no longer as distinct as it use to be (just ask "modernitionalist" quilter Lee Chappell Monroe). So while Tami Graeber's quilt, Folk Art Fun in Baltimore, won Best Use of Color in the Traditional category at PIQF 2021, that doesn't mean she necessarily considers it completely traditional. As she puts it, "The New Norm for me is creating a Traditional looking quilt with an Innovative style." With great Machine Piecing and Longarm quilting, this fun quilt with wonderful splashes of color all over is just another example that the quilt police aren't real and you can create whatever you think looks great!
