Glade Creek Grist Mill by Barbara Matzke won First Place - Small Wall Quilts: Stationary Machine Quilted (Sponsored by Baby Lock USA presented by Calico Country Sew & Vac) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2024. Barbara's depiction of a simple mill by a creek, using her own photograph as inspiration, was beautifully brought to life using a combination of machine and raw edge appliqué along with some amazing thread painting.
