Exhibited in the Merit Quilting Stationary category, Moonlight Sonata features a simple design in black and white with loads of intricate quilting. It is embellished with bright machine embroidery and edged with free-standing lace. You'll need to take a look; we have lots of details.

Even a Beginner Can Make This in an Evening

Creating a fresh new look when sewing menswear can be as simple as making a new tie. With a dash of fun fabric (you only need 1 yard of fabric and 1 yard of interfacing fabric) and a couple of hours, you can make a dapper tie for the guy you know using this tutorial from Jaime David at WeAllSew. The key to a good necktie is a soft fabric, cut on the bias, and some good structure for support.

This year's theme was Shakespeare and we'd like to congratulate all the award winners and participants. This exhibition of 43 quilts from artists from 22 states and 3 countries will be at The National Quilt Museum from April 8, 2022 through August 23, 2022.

The fox is Olesya's totem animal, so she wanted to depict it in a quilt. The title, Cunning as a Fox, is a little more deceptive than straight-forward however, as there is a rabbit hiding amongst the foxes in the quilt. Can you spot the "cunning" rabbit that is outwitting all the foxes in plain sight?
