A Quilt Celebrating Family

Being with the ones you love and sharing your time together with them is something I'm sure we can all agree on these days. And this award-winning quilt from Quiltcon puts those values on full display. Chloe by Angela Bowman won Cindy Erickson's Judges Choice Award at Quiltcon 2022.

Artist Statement: "This is a quilt I designed from a photo of my daughter Chloe, based on a picture I took of her when she was 8 years old. I created a digital illustration and translated it into a quilt made of a foundation paper-pieced grid of solid fabric. What's really special about this quilt is that Chloe sat right next to me at my computer and helped make design choices. When I'm gone, it will be hers, and I hope she'll remember designing it with me."
