Featured Quilt - It's a Member Quilt for Pie Day (3.14...get it?)
Humble Pie (108" x 108") by Marie Z Johansen, and quilted by Kerry L Stone, is Marie's version of the 1876 Centennial Quilt.

From Quilts Inc.: Dubbed the 1876 Centennial Quilt because of the date prominently reverse-appliquéd on one of its blocks, it has become the basis for an ongoing project that reminds us anew of the extraordinary skill and artistry of quilters past, far too many of whom are known only as “Anonymous.”

Marie's quilt features more than 10 different techniques and you can learn the whole story in the ABOUT THE QUILT tab after viewing the photos.
The Quilt Show LIVE: Learn About Ledger Quilts
Susan Hudson at Quiltcon 2022

Susan Hudson is a Navajo/Diné artist from Sheep Springs, NM. Hudson’s pictorial quilts honor her ancestors and the proud history of the Navajo people using a crossover style inspired by Ledger art. Recounting history through her ledger quilts has made Hudson an activist storyteller. In this video, she talks to The Quilt Show about two of her Ledger quilts.

Alex is LIVE TODAY Monday, March 14, 2022 @ 10am PST, 1pm EST, and 6pm London time. All classes are recorded so they can be viewed later.

The Quilt Show Puzzle: A Monochromatic Marvel
"Fur Blue" by Grace Errea

Fur Blue is Grace's interpretation of a lynx that was at the San Diego Zoo. Using a monochromatic color scheme, she brings out more depth and dimension from her subject by using the tones and values of her single chosen color.
