Featured Quilt - First Place Appliqué at Quiltcon 2022

Double the Hipster by Leo Ransom won First Place in the Appliqué category at Quiltcon 2022. But when we look at it, we think it really should have won TWO awards (it'll make sense when you see it). Leo says, "This quilt is created using two identical portraits, but in different color tones layering one upon the others. It represents my cousin's style of dress and his personality. I spliced the two portraits in the same placement and then spliced the pieces back together creating double the amount to view."
