Featured Quilt - A Bright & Boisterous Baltimore Album

Often on The Quilt Show we like to spotlight quilts that our in our Member Gallery. What's Old is New Again by Daryl B Leach is a beautiful Baltimore Album quilt with great free motion quilting, trapunto, and feather work. But something else caught our eye when Daryl wrote about the quilt, "My quilt is a tribute to my 2 favorite teachers, Mimi Dietrich for hand appliqué and John Anderson for free motion machine quilting."  Somehow we don't think this is our very own John Anderson, but you never know...maybe Alex has been teaching him.

Silk City is the quilt Alex purchased from Tamara when she was on the set for the taping of her show. It is one of Tamara's silk fusion pieces and just shimmers in the light.
