Quilts can take any amount of time to finish. Some people can complete them in a few days, while for others it may take a year or two, or twenty-plus. Just ask Martha Walker, whose quilt Berries In The Sun, quilted by B’nae Pulve, recently won Second Place - Large Quilts: Movable Machine Quilted (Sponsored by ABM International) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2023. After recently having foot surgery, Martha took it upon herself
to complete this quilt after many years. "She decided to do the hand sewing portion of finishing the quilt binding and the 94" sleeve and finished her 22-year long quilt project." Now that's what we call dedication.

A Correction For Month 6 of "Homeward Bound"

There has been another correction for Month 6 of the 2023 BOM Homeward Bound. Page 2 says to cut two strips 2.5” x WOF for Star C triangles cut using Template B. It should be ONE strip.
The pattern has been updated on the site.

"My Country House" by Lynette Anderson
My Country House was
The Quilt Show's Block Of the Month for 2015. In the quilt, Lynette expresses the dream home she would have liked to have had, as seen in the center of the BOM, a manor house in the village with a long driveway going down to the gate below. Lynette also wanted the quilt to share her love of animals, so it includes many different animals throughout with sheep, birds, horses, and all other animals one might find roaming the countryside.
