Featured Quilt - Second Place Hand Quilted Quilts at Paducah 2023

To Philly With Priscilla by Barbara Korengold won Second Place in the Hand Quilted Quilts (Sponsored by Arrow Sewing) category at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2023. Her quilt was inspired by another, a 19th century botanical quilt from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, hence the "Philly" of the title. If Barbara's green thumb is anywhere as good as the hand quilting skills that she demonstrates in this quilt, there is no doubt she has a flourishing garden as far as the eye can see.

Alex has loved the plant and mentioned it on her LIVE recently. Then it turned out in the chat that the cactus has a lot of names. What other names does it have? Click through and find out.

Confetti Party Squares Fabric is Back in Stock... For Now!

We keep selling out of this fabric. It's just an all around great fabric - it is fun and pretty, it has lots of colors so it's easy to match, and it adds interest without being overwhelming.

We like it for a quilt back because it is non-directional and you don't have to align it perfectly like you would with stripes or a plaid. We recommend that you get your order in before it sells out again!
