Featured Quilt - 20,000 Crystals in One Quilt

Bricks 'n Gears by Claudia Pfeil won Third Place - Wall Quilts: Movable Machine Quilted (Sponsored by Juki America, Inc.) at AQS Quiltweek 2022 in Paducah. On the inspiration for the quilt, Claudia says, "In my imagination, old gears of various shapes and sizes are stacked on a brick wall. Above and one behind the other are the Spechen wheels, which seem to dissolve towards the top. The wall consists of courthouse blocks, which are placed either upright or horizontally."

And to highlight just ONE of the amazing things about this quilt, it contains over 20,000 Swarovski crystals.

Learn from Claudia right here at The Quilt Show by watching her in How to Machine Quilt on Silk with Claudia Pfeil | Cosplay with Gayle Schliemann.
