We Love the Interwoven Trapunto Vines -

"She is a Very Happy Quilt"

It could be said that creativity breeds more creativity, but boredom may do the trick as well. When you've been stuck inside for as long as many people have, inspiration will eventually strike, as it did for Barbara Clem. Barbara's quilt, Lullaby ... in 3/4 Time, won 2nd Place - Traditional at the 2021 Virtual Spring Quilt Festival. Barbara explains how her creative endeavor began. "I shadowed my husband for many months and needed something to keep me busy. These fabrics came entirely from my stash." "I then added a small amount of embroidery to delineate my scallops and trapunto to accent some of my hand quilting motifs. She is a very happy quilt."

In Trio, Gyleen has done everything in threes. It has three sections of color and three types of blocks throughout - pinwheels, cobblestones, and bricks. With her recent foray into contemporary, Modern, and scrappy quilts, Gyleen describes this one as a more contemporary quilt of the three styles.
