Here is another stunning quilt by Natalia Lashko from the Quilts from Ukraine: Natalia Lashko and Illia Lashko Exhibit that was on display at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2024. We have shown Natalia's quilts before, like her quilt Dear Mommy, Tell Me A Fairytale About My Beloved Country Ukraine!, which utilize her handmade straw embroidery and personal technology textile straw technique. And the Archangel Michael Will Stand, the One Who Stands for the Sons of Your People (60" x 79") also features this technique and an interesting finished edge. Take a closer look.

Join us as Lesley shares how to edit and make an image quilt worthy using simple phone apps, the benefits of working with TAP (Transfer Artist Paper), and how to build a small story composition using fabric fragments.
