Pacific International Quilt Festival 33 Is Happening Now!

One of The Bay Area's Best Quilt Shows Is Taking Place As We Speak

From Mancuso: "Pacific International Quilt Festival is returning to Santa Clara, CA for its 33rd year. As always, the show promises incredible merchants offering a wide variety of products for quilters, textile & wearable artists, and the sewing arts. In addition, PIQF will present the finest collections of quilting arts on display, including competition entries and special exhibits. Rounding out the event will be a fashion show, a Quilters Adventure Tour, appraisals, workshops, and lectures presented by internationally known instructors."

The Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF) takes place at the Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, CA 95054 from July 24, 2024 through July 27, 2024.

The Quilt Show Puzzle: A "Garden" of Quilted Delights

"Cottage Garden" by Kellie Beckwith

Cottage Garden is an homage to Kellie's mentor Carrie Quinn, who designed the Genevieve fabric line from Marcus Fabrics that was used in the quilt. Kellie had just made the quilt and was trying to decide what fabrics to use when Carrie sent her an image of what her new line was going to be. Kellie felt that it was just perfect and decided to incorporate it into the quilt.
