Featured Quilt - One of the 100 Best Quilts of the Twentieth Century
Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry's quilt, Corona #2: Solar Eclipse, broke new ground when it won AQS: Best of Show 1989 in Paducah. In 1999, it chosen by Quilter's Newsletter Magazine and the International Quilt Festival, along with Quiltmaker and McCall's Quilting, to be one of the 100 best quilts of the twentieth century. This year The Quilt Show got to see the quilt in detail in all its glory which is impressive... and then we discovered the back is basically another quilt. What a great surprise!
