Featured Quilt - Which Blocks Do You See?
Frequent TQS guest, and friend of the show, Mel Beach (Show 2808) made a quilt you could say is a little bit like I Spy. Her quilt, Spinning Stars, was featured in the Pieced, Large category at Houston in 2018. The fun of the quilt is finding all the different blocks hidden throughout. As Mel puts it, "An Everything Old Is New Again challenge inspired me to give traditional blocks a modern makeover. Can you find my updated version of these classic quilt blocks: Bow Tie, Snail's Trail, Rail Fence, LeMoyne Star, Jacob's Ladder, Card Trick, Flying Geese, Pinwheel, Drunkard's Path, Ohio Star, Friendship Star, Square in a Square, and Sailboat?"

A Little Sunday Fun...The Dior Micro-Bag Challenge
And You Thought YOUR Purse Was Small
Dior, like every other company in the world, is always striving to make their products more portable and convenient for their customers. They've definitely pushed it to the limit this time as they have made handbags that are literally the size of your hand. Watch and see how much people can fit into these teeny-tiny bags in The Dior Micro-Bag Challenge!
Print your appliqué design on the Print & Piece Fuse Lite.
Cut it out and fuse it to the back of your fabric.
Cut your fabric piece out leaving a 1/4 inch border.
Turn the fabric over the edge of the Print & Piece Fuse Lite and glue it in place with the Fabric Glue Stick.
Stitch to your quilt.
Once completed, wash your quilt; this will dissolve half of the Print & Piece Fuse Lite fibers. The remaining half will create a slight loft under your appliqué piece that will make it pop!
Featuring hearts, roses, and chocolates, What A Girl Wants lives up to its title by containing everything a girl could ask for. Well, not everything, as it doesn't have any diamonds on the back like Ricky thought it might. However, the back is a Hoffman print that is See's Candies!
In order to keep scammers out and members in, we had to make the forum for Star members only. However, once you have been a Star member on the new website, you retain access to the Store and the Forum even if you don't renew.
Get a 1 year membership and you will not only get over 350 shows, Block of the Month patterns and early access to Project bundles, but you will keep your access to the forum as long as their is a TQS.
That way you can show your project pictures, ask questions, and meet other quilters.
The new project with Ricky is a great place to start.
